Fitness Series

Fitness Seminar Series

The Fitness Seminar Series consists of 7 seminars, 1 Health Assessment and 1 Workshop for employees.  The series can be completed between 9 weeks and 12 months.  The goals of this series are:

  • To help employees determine which fitness programs are right for them
  • Teach employees how to implement fitness into their busy workdays
  • Motivate employees to stay fit all year long  

 

Am I Ready For A Fitness Program? – This series starts off with the basics.  Learn about setting reasonable goals and which fitness programs may be right for you!

Balancing Work and Fitness – Too busy to work out?  Here’s some advice about fitting workouts into a busy work day.  This seminar teaches you how to make time to exercise after a long day at work.

Fitness Assessments (Health Assessment) – Determine a good starting point for your fitness by finding out what kind of shape you are in.  Fitness assessments include metabolic testing, height and weight, Body Fat Testing, Heart Rate, and Blood Pressure

Fitness Over 40 – Learn the best ways to stay in shape past the age of 40.  Workouts and programs are geared towards activities that are easy for the body and healthy for the heart.

Men’s and Women’s Fitness – Learn about the difference in men’s and women’s fitness and why men and women should exercise differently.  This seminar discusses different fitness program specifically for each gender. 

Keep Your Body in “Working” Condition – Preventing injury is a big part of being physically fit.  Learn proper techniques and posture for lifting, standing, and sitting while working or working out.

Losing Weight Through Exercise – We all know that exercising is a great way to lose weight.  But do we know what it takes to make exercising an effective weight loss program?  Learn how to lose weight and keep it off through exercise.

Office Stretches to Keep You Fit (WorkShop) – Stretching is important for preventing fitness related injuries and staying physically fit.  This workshop shows employees some simple stretches they can do right at their desks!

Stay Strong All Year Long! – Fitness programs can become boring and monotonous.  Here are some seasonal tips and advice to keep employees motivated to workout all year long!
